MANDUKA: Trade Show Booth

Manduka Began over ten years ago started by an architect turned yogi.  Peter Sterios began this journey with a mat that changed his practice and in true yoga fashion wanted to share it with world.  Manduka is committed to making the world a better place, celebrating the deep profound bond that yoga shares with the world.  The idea of respect for all living things is core to the Manduka philosophy, and sustainability is their standard.

AoSA was brought on to create a trade show booth for an event held in San Francisco.  AoSA wanted to create a innovate eco- friendly booth that would educate and beatify house all the Manduka products.  AoSA used Bamboo to create the walls of the booth as bamboo is one of the most eco-friendly building materials there is and is considered a sustainable resource because of its fast growth qualities it was the natural choice of material. The Bamboo was printed with water-based dyes educating the Manduka customer on the company vision and product.  Old drums were cut in half to create the bottom of the booth, peg boards were created to hold product, and a custom wall was created to house yoga mats and mat bags built with FSC Baltic birch and cables showing the wide array of products.  The defining piece was a print with the Manduka logo and a beautiful asana turned upside down eliminated with rays that was printed on fabric recycled from post consumer water bottles.

HOW THE CHANGE WAS MADE

AoSA and Manduka are committed to eco-responsibility. Acting mindfully in every decision we make using natural, recyclable, sustainable and/or biodegradable materials.  As we grow together, we pledge to protect and honor our earth and its beings, continuing to walk the walk together committed to excellence and sustainability.
