FALLING WHISTLES: Re Purposed Art Case 

Aosa was excited to collaborate on this project with Falling Whistles to help aid in the campaign for Peace in the Congo.  Falling Whistles gives a small window into our largest war.  Originally just a journal written about boys sent to the frontlines of war armed with only a whistle, readers forwarded it with the same kind of urgency in which it was written and demanded to know. The Fallen Whistles campaign launched with a simple response make their weapon your voice and be a whistleblower for peace in the Congo. 

Falling Whistles was in need of a display case to showcase and transport their whistles.  Easy transportation ability was a must.  The result was a repurposed art case.  The Aosa team took the art case from its basic form and the hardware was detached and sent out to receive a darker finish.  The case itself was painted and sanded to fit more in line with the Fallen Whistles vision.  Digital and Hand Printing techniques were applied with the Falling Whistles logo and branding giving it a unique look that is only FW.  The case was finally assembled with custom inserts repurposing it to a Show Case rather than an art case for the viewing and display of the Whistles.   

HOW THE CHANGE WAS MADE

As Falling Whistles partner with local leaders to advocate and rehabilitate for those affected by the war.  They also move towards a green earth in their choice to reusing and repurposed items to showcase their whistles.  Together we’ll become a voice of growing coalition for peace and sustainability for all mankind.
