Hurley: Delek Blacklight Installation

James Marshall aka “Dalek” along with Hurley is excited to present two art exhibitions titled “PSYCH OPTIC BLACK LIGHT FUZZ.” For over 18 months artist James Marshall has been a creative partner with Hurley exploring the concept of innovation, dimensionality, color and the power of free creativity through community. The exhibition “PSYCH OPTIC BLACK LIGHT FUZZ” is the natural culmination of their successful partnership together. The first opening was held at the Laguna Beach Hurley 225 Forest location; and the second was held at The Hurley )( Space Gallery in Costa Mesa.  AoSA was lucky enough to help contribute to both of these events.

AoSA was brought on by the Hurley team to help create these conceptual instillations featuring a florescent, multi dimensional sculptures and prints featuring Delek’s art for the Hurley 225 Laguna beach storefront.  AoSA installed a custom fabricated a 10 feet by 22 feet tall 3 dimensional “transformer” like art instillation built from mdf, and plexy.  AoSA also printed multiple fine art prints from 100% post consumer water bottles that grazed the top of the staircase in the retail store. 

HOW THE CHANGE WAS MADE

Thru this exhibition AoSA helped to create a space where attendees were allowed the unique opportunity to be completely immersed in a Delek inspired 4D Universe.  Thru the use of natural materials and sustainable process’ AoSA and Hurley hope to collaborate on more exhibitions and inspire all things green in the art world.
