AOSA: Tradeshow Booth

This booth was installed at ASR in early 2009 by AoSA and was a collaborative effort between AoSA and Pinnical exhibits.  Pinnacle Exhibits is a 3D brand agency. We design, build, and manage environments for marketing, sales, education, and interaction. Their mission is to make our clients look great and enhance their users' experience.

In this collaboration AoSA and Pinnacle Exhibit wanted to create a booth to help educate the surf industry in the beauty and refinment that can be achieved with natural and reclaimed materials.  The booth was made out of all natural materials; aluminium, FSC wood, glass, and steel. The design was a joint effort by Pinnical staff and AoSA’s creative team.  The booth took 3 weeks to build and 80% of the materials used were from reclaimed sources.  We reused scrap yards and old tradeshow booths. The installation of the booth took 4.5 hours and required 3 people, its final size was 12’ x 12’ x 12’.

HOW THE CHANGE WAS MADE

Re-using material gives it new life. By taking useful products and exchanging them, without reprocessing, reuse help save time, money, energy, and resources. In broader economic terms, reuse offers quality products to people and organizations with limited means, while generating jobs and business activity that contribute to the economy.
